Punta Cana is so much more than its stunning all-inclusive resorts. From the waves of Macao Beach to the panoramic views of Montaña Redonda in Miches, having the freedom of your own vehicle is the only way to truly experience Dominican paradise at your own pace.
Renting a car abroad can raise questions. At One Road, transparency comes first: we explain insurance, taxes, additional charges and included benefits before you book.
Requirements: an original and physical passport, a valid physical driver's license from your home country, and a credit card. Minimum age is 19, and premium categories require 25+.
Insurance: Full Cover covers damages, but theft of the vehicle is not included. Ask us and we will walk you through exactly what applies to your rental.
For excursions to Samaná or mountainous areas we highly recommend a 4x4 SUV or Jeep.
Tips for driving in the area: use Waze, return the vehicle with the same fuel level as when you picked it up, and watch out for speed bumps (badenes).
Trust is priceless. Renting a vehicle shouldn't be a risky endeavor. The key is choosing companies with a local reputation, physical offices, and a reliable concierge service to assist you every step of the way.
